Alliance Française of Port Elizabeth is the only officially accredited centre in the Eastern Cape to hold examinations endorsed by the French government and to deliver internationally recognized French language diplomas.
The system of evaluation of these diplomas is based on the global scale of linguistic competencies engineered by the European Council. Each diploma measures a candidate’s level in comprehension and expression, both orally and in writing.
Alliance Française of Port Elizabeth provides children and teenagers with the opportunity to prepare for DELF Prim and DELF Junior, based on with their French proficiency level.

DELF / DALF
These DELF/DALF diplomas are recognised world-wide and valid for life. Alliance Française de Port Elizabeth is the only institution accredited by FEI (France Education International) in the Eastern Cape for organizing this exam.
DELF – DALF is required by French Universities for following their studies.
TEF
The TEF is an international benchmark test that measures your level of knowledge and skills in French. You need this Diploma to study in France or emigrating to Canada and obtaining Canadian citizenship.
